The Oakworks®
Vitrectomy Face Support system is an extremely versatile unit which may
be used in many ways.
For sleeping, the patient can use it on the end of the bed where the bar of the frame slides between the box spring and the mattress of the bed. There is also a optional armrest shelf which also slides between the box spring and mattress and goes around the face unit. It can also be used directly on the bed if your bed has a footboard. This system allows you to breath easily without being smothered by the bedding. No more worries about drifting out of position during sleep, as the support system snuggles you into position. |

When not being used for
sleeping, the Face Support Unit can be used on a table or desk in
combination with an adjustable height chair. Reading and writing
letters can be accomplished with this position.
The face cushions come with soft flannel washable covers for comfort. There is a crescent shaped and a 3-pad face rest cushion. |
